Excerpts from Sri Aurobindo
& the Mother

The Supramental Consciousness

The Supramental Consciousness is here considered as the universal Consciousness and Force which authors, organizes and fully embraces and coordinates the Whole of Creation, including all previous stages of Evolution (Matter, Life and Mind). Sri Aurobindo and the Mother of Pondicherry taught that the Descent and full establishment of the Supramental Consciousness is an immanent evolutionary shift for the Earth and its inhabitants. Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet's contributions to the Supramental Knowledge and Descent can be explored and assessed in her many Published Works (which, to date, span four decades).

Integral Yoga Studies

This links and articles found in this website discuss a thoroughly INTEGRAL approach to Earthly existence (and evolution) based on the Supramental Yoga of Sri Aurobindo, the Mother and Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet.

The Supramental Thought and Action

Ms. Norelli-Bachelet's yoga illuminates the process by which the Supramental Thought and Action are made visible and intelligible to those ready to grow beyond the limited and divisive mental consciousness. This process, explored in all her written work and in this web site, is one of understanding the eternal principles, harmony and cycles written of by Sri Aurobindo in the Synthesis of Yoga:

'[The] creative or pragmatic movement of the supramental thought and consciousness brings with it an action which corresponds to that of the habitual or mechanical mentality but is yet of a very different character. The thing that is created is the self-determination of a harmony and all harmony proceeds upon seen or given lines and carries with it a constant pulsation and rhythmic recurrence. The supramental thought, organizing the harmony of manifested existence of the supramental being, founds it on eternal principles, casts it upon the right lines of the truth that is to be manifested, keeps sounding as characteristic notes the recurrence of the constant elements in the experience and the action which are necessary to constitute the harmony. There is an order of the thought, a cycle of the will, a stability in the motion….' - Sri Aurobindo, Synthesis of Yoga, p. 816
